Born 1973 in Reykjavik, Iceland. Lives in Berlin, DE, Egill Sæbjörnsson is interested in the connection between the mental reality and the physical reality; in the mere connection between what we think and what is happening in the world around us. His work often is prescribed as playful and inventive and not needing words for accessibility. Installations, performances, videos, and music are all part of his universe.

Out of Controll Perfume is a collaboration between Egill and the legendary perfumer Geza Schön, who has made scents for a handful of artists such as Sissel Tollas and many others. Egill Sæbjörnsson called up Geza Schön one day and asked if he’d join the adventure with the two imaginary friends of Egill Sæbjörnsson, 36-meter tall man eating trolls Ugh & Boogar to make a perfume and Geza said yes!
